Maybe you know, maybe you don’t know…..I LOVE buttons. Always have. And now I make buttons almost every single day (might sound weird, but kinda a drea come true!).

Before I started making buttons, I still had way too many buttons in my stash! I would go to thrift stores looking for old jars of buttons, purchased vintage lots on EBay and Etsy and of course the craft store! I love them all.

So I understand I may love buttons more than most, but I can’t be the only one with way to many buttons! So I have put together a round up of patterns (mostly other than clothing) that use buttons.

First up is the Retro Granny Stitch Mug Cozy from me, Kathy’s Kozies! This cozy completely covers the bottom of the cup so acts as a coaster as well. Then you use a button (like these) to connect one side to the other. This pattern is available for FREE on my blog. Or you can purchase the pdf on Etsy here.
