One of my favorite things about my Egg Bunny Pattern, is all the different things you can do with it. From all the different weights it works in to all the fun mods, and this Santa Bunny is no exception!

This is a modification to my Crocheted Egg Bunny Pattern. You must purchase the pattern in order to complete this project. The pattern can be found here.

Materials:

  • G or H hook (I used an H hook)\

  • Worsted weight yarn in Red, Black, White, Gold, and brown (or bunny color of choice!)

  • Pink cotton yarn for the nose

  • Polyfil

  • Scissors

  • Yarn needle

Santa Bunny:

Make as directed in the pattern with the following changes….

Ears:
Make 2 as directed in the pattern in brown

Feet:
Make in black and as directed in pattern

Body: *note that rounds 8 & 9 below are EXTRA rows. You will have 8 middle rows instead of 6 for the Santa Bunny*

Rounds 1-7: Red
Round 8: Black
Round 9: White
Round 10 – end: brown

Place eyes as directed in the pattern, but account for your 2 extra rows.

Embroider nose as directed. Sew on buckle over the black row and under the nose with gold color.

Finish rest of body as directed

Tail:
Make tail using the brown

Assembly:
As directed in the pattern.

All done!!!!!!
