I started making these lil’ candy corns last year when I shop I was a part of requested cute Halloween items. I immediately thought of candy corn, but I wanted to make them true to form but silly like my other items. They are super fun to make and will make you and whoever you give them to smile.
They are a great craft fair item that even sell off season. They would make adorable class gifts and Halloween themed party favors.
You can now purchase the pattern for these Here. The pattern is written for the beginner crocheter that already knows the single crochet stitch and basic sewing. There are over 20 color photos with pictorials for invisible decreases, closing the piece and a seamless color joining.
The pattern calls for worsted weight yarn and will yield a 4’ to 5’ candy corn. I used a thicker and stiffer yarn, Studio Classics by Nicole (AC Moore brand). However, any worsted weight yarn will do. I have also included what alterations are needed when using Bernat Blanket Yarn for these! That yields a 9”-10” Candy Corn.
