Zombie Bunny Mod Crochet Pattern

This is a modification to my Crocheted Egg Bunny Pattern.  You must purchase the pattern in order to complete this project.  I am a big fan of silly things, what could be more silly than a zombie bunny????  Kathy's Kozies Zombie Bunny

Materials:

  • G or H hook (I used an H hook)
  • Worsted weight yarn in green, grey/black, pink and red. I used: ILTY Mid Green, ILTY Stonewashed in Dark Grey, Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in Pink. 
  • Black cotton yarn for the stitches
  • 13mm safety eyes
  • Polyfil
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle

Follow the Crocheted Egg Bunny Pattern with the following exceptions:

Ears:

‘“Bitten” ear – make as directed in pattern starting with green.  Switch to pink in the following parts:

  • Round 5 – stitches 6-8
  • Round 6 – stitches 5-9
  • Round 7 – stitches 6-8

Make sure to knot and secure your color changes. Before closing up the ear.

Stitched Ear – Make ear as directed in its entirety, then use the black cotton yarn to embroider stitches.

Feet:

Make in green and as directed in pattern

Body:

Place one eye as directed in the pattern.  Then stitch your X for the other eye and make any scar stitches you wish. Embroider nose as directed using the grey/black color.

Finish rest of body as directed

Tail:

Make tail using the grey/black color

Assembly:

As directed in the pattern.

All done!!!!!!
