Over this past summer, Sarah of The Plush Pineapple ordered pineapple buttons from me. That not only sparked us colabing on the Pineapple Everything Cozy, but it also sparked a friendship. I was thrilled when she approached me again about another collaboration!
My Everything Cozies are named as such because they are designed to adjust in the back with 2 buttons. Because of this, they will fit mugs, coffee cups and iced drinks as the pattern is written. Making them perfect to just throw in your purse and they are great Market items!
Even with it being January, we ultimately decided to go summery with this mod! I designed these 1 inch Sun Buttons to go on it and Sarah designed this Palm Tree Appliqué! This appliqué is the second in a collection of bobble stitch appliqués that Sarah is working on!
What you’ll need….

The Everything Cozy Pattern by me.
3/4”-1” buttons of your choice. I used these.
Follow the directions in both patterns using your colors of choice. When placing and centering the Palm Tree, make sure you account for the curving of the trunk!
That’s it! Wrap around your favorite iced or hot drink and feel like summer all year long!
