I love creating characters out of my Egg Bunny Pattern. Last Christmas I made a Santa Bunny, so I thought it would be appropriate to make a Rudolph Bunny this year! This mod is one of my simplest, but perfect for this time of year when you have to whip up a quick gift!

This is a modification to my Crocheted Egg Bunny Pattern.

• 4.25mm/ G and 3.25mm/D hook

• Worsted weight yarn in light brown and dark brown

• Red yarn for the nose (I used the red sparkly size 2 yarn from Lion Brand Bon Bons pack)

• 9mm safety eyes

• Polyfil

• Scissors

• Yarn needle

Rudolph  Bunny:

Make the entire bunny as directed in the pattern using the light brown for the bunny and the red for the nose and mouth.

Antlers:

Make 2 with D hook and dark brown…..

CH7, SS in 2nd CH from hook and in next 2 CH, CH3, ss in 2nd CH from hook and in the next CH, now SS in the 3 remaining CH. fasten off leaving a long tail.

You will have a Y shape. Weave in the beginning end straight up and down the longest part, this will help stiffen them.

Assembly:

As directed in the pattern. When adding the Antlers, center them in front of the ears and shown in the picture.

If you’d like to make Santa Bunny too, the instructions can be found here
